Hopefully Windows will fix this in a subsequent update, not sure what the fix is otherwise. This is stalling instead of helping. USBXpress driver via Microsoft Update
Because usbxpreds the small incompatibilities between USBXpress v3. It showed it was up to date. I find this question offensive.
I believe it’s a WinUsb-based driver, since I was able to get some results with the 3.

Replied Nov 17 Now I get a driver that identifies as V6. Replied Jan 13 I have tested this on both Win7 x32 and Win7 x64 so far, the behaviour is identical on both OSes.
I’ll keep this topic update once our driver team have the answer. I too have encountered this issue.

I’m also suspicious of the version number, since it is so far away from 4. Post Windows Update to version 6. It may take a few days to propagate through the Windows release server, but usbxperss automatic updates should no longer occur once this happens.
